Facing Forward Wrap Demo

Facing Forward (wrapping with an older infant)
*When wrapping in this position, be sure to occasionally check that the fabric is not bunched up between your child's legs..and if it is, simply spread it out as far as under their knees, which actually creates a little seat for them to be in. Also, remember to continually adjust their hips to a 90-degree angle, to alleviate any undue stress on their spine. Contact me if you have questions. As always, wrap with care :)

(3-ish months and younger should still wrap with feet tucked in...either facing you or facing outward...see picture with yellow wrap below)

Basic Front Wrap Cross Carry Demo

Basic Front Wrap Cross Carry (FWCC)
with an Older Infant
*If your child falls asleep, you can feel safe pulling the rails over his/her head, as this fabric is totally breathable, to keep their head from flopping around (as you would for a newborn, as neck support)--I still do it at least once to twice a week when we go out during morning naptime :) Contact me if you have questions. As always, wrap with care :)

We Bought Our First House!!

Yay! We are now officially home-owners in lots of debt! Yippee! :) No really, I am excited about being a first time home owner. We closed on our house the last day of October, and we are currently having some small remodeling projects done and painting. Just today, I saw the wall we are having taken out get knocked down! And I saw 2 new doors installed....talk about crazy watching that happen to something you just bought! But it's already looking better and more open just from those 2 small changes! So yay :)

So we are busy packing (well not yet, but I mean to! LOL) and cleaning and we'll hope to be moving in next week or else by the 21st, Lord-willing. That means I am giving myself a little more time on orders and shipping. Just so you know....I will do my best to ship out your orders within 3-5 business days of receiving payment. I am also trying to make sure I am spending balanced time with family, doing house things, and sewing, so I've added this cusion to ensure happy mamas and a happy family AND a happy ME :) If you need your wrap in a flash, I will work with you, just email me and let me know so I can put a rush on making it for you :)

I can't wait to post pics of our new house up on here and on my facebook. I just have to get them from my phone to my computer...hmmmm...any suggestions? I didn't have working batteries for my camera so I had to use my phone :( OH well, at least I got some 'before' so I'll add the 'after' once it's all done! :)

There are only 2 more Saturdays out at the Farmer's Market so if you want to pick up a good Christmas gift for an expectant mom this winter, come on out :) Or else give me a call/email, and I can meet you (if you're local) or I can always ship it!

One last thing to note is that I have stepped down from the online boutiques (Hyena Cart Congos Sweet Retreat and Bitty Fluff) that I was on, simply to focus more fully on my family and to control my stocking more effectively. Nothing will change with my blog, and my wraps are still available any time (except the shipping/turn-around time is a little longer, due to our current situation, and also to make things less stressful on me and my family :)

God bless and Happy Fall!!
